What counts as a scheduled request?

The scheduled requests count is increased every time a hook is scheduled with the Schedule Hook API route and gets reset at the beginning of each calendar month.

Is there a way to track my usage?

Yes, your account's quota is displayed on the Account Page and dashboard. Every hook creation API response also includes Posthook-HookQuota-Limit, Usage, Remaining, and Resets-At headers so you can track usage programmatically.

What happens if I go over the scheduled requests quota?

Every plan includes a 50% extra usage buffer beyond your quota so your integration is never disrupted without warning. We send email alerts at 75%, 100%, and 150% of your quota, and every API response includes usage headers so you can monitor programmatically. New hooks are only rejected after you exhaust the full buffer (150% of your quota). You can upgrade your plan at any time from the Account Page to immediately raise your limit.

How reliable is the API?

The performance and reliability of our service is our top priority. Posthook is deployed to multiple availability zones and leverages highly available systems provided by Google Cloud Platform. Database backups are taken daily and stored in two regions for redundancy. Check out our Status Page (run by a third-party) to see our historical uptime and request latencies from different locations across the world.

How do I cancel my subscription and when does it take effect?

You can cancel your subscription on the Account Page. The plan will remain in effect until the end of the month, at which point your account will be downgraded to the 'Free' plan. All previously scheduled hooks will still be fulfilled under the free account.

How are payments handled?

We use Stripe for our payment processing.
